I have always loved the expression “A rising tide lifts all boats”. As Slow Road Photo has grown, our heart to empower and equip others has been at the center of everything we do. Through our financial support for organizations like Emerge Mothers Academy, we have been able to make a huge impact in our city as we work together to honor, support, and bless our community both personally and professionally. And now we are taking that passion to a whole new level.

I want to give you a glimpse into how the Collective can lift the boats of women artists in the Twin Cities. The Slow Road Team is made up of artists who are some of the most gifted and tender hearted photographers in our community. Their partnership with Slow Road Photo allows us to provide a joyful School Picture Day for over 100 schools around the Twin Cities each year. And in return, Slow Road Photo wants the rising tide that we are experiencing as a company from this HUGE growth in the number of schools we serve to result in the lifting up of the boats of our Slow Road Team photographers in their businesses as well.

A select number of photographers from our team have become Slow Road Certified, which means that they are fully equipped to provide your family with everything that makes a Slow Road session what it is: a joyful, relaxed experience for your family resulting in photos that will become heirloom treasures. You will book your session directly with the photographer you choose from our site, knowing with confidence that they will capture all the moments along your family’s road with heart and spirit and professionalism and joy and quality… and I could go on and on! They are ready and excited to arrange a session for your family anytime…even right this very second!
